Support Services

The 102 officers and civilians in Support Services, under the command of Superintendent Mark Brown and Inspector Norn Miles, provide operational and emergency support as well as critical incident management in three separate bureaus. The Emergency Support Bureau includes the Critical Incident Management, Emergency Response and Explosives Disposal Units. The Operational Support Bureau includes the Air Support, Canine, Firearms and Incident Response Units. The Traffic Bureau is comprised of three units: Collision Reconstruction, Enforcement and Safety Programs, where officers implement the important public education components of our traffic strategy.
