Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying two male suspects following an armed bank robbery in the City of Markham.  

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at approximately 7:55 p.m., two male suspects, wearing masks, entered a bank located in the area of Kennedy Road and Dennison Street. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. One of the suspects climbed over the counter and began emptying out the teller registers. The suspects fled on foot with a quantity of cash.

Both of the suspects were described as:

  • Male
  • Approximately 5’8”, thin build
  • Wearing black masks, sunglasses and black hats
  • One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other was carrying a dark-coloured backpack
