The Critical Location Emergency Action Response (C.L.E.A.R.) program was developed to protect and respond to threats against critical infrastructures in York Region.

In order to be included in the program, York Regional Police requires each location to submit a data form that includes information on the:

  • Premise
  • Primary contact
  • Administration and facility
  • Hazards on site
  • Floor plans

The datasheet contains:

  • Drop downs for you to select information
  • Mandatory fields are indicated by a red box
  • Hints in some fields that will appear when you hover over the cell
  • Revised sections. This will be used if you are submitting a revision to the original form in order to update the appropriate section
  • A save and print option
  • An easy way to submit the form. Click on the Submit box to send it
  • An attachment option for your floor plans in pdf format. This is a critical step. If the floor plans and/or room identifications change throughout the year, please resubmit to clear@yrp.ca as soon as possible

*Please note: If you do not have Adobe Reader Cloud you may not be able to complete the datasheet. Please complete it as best you can and save the file as a Save As document onto your computer. You can then attach the datasheet and floor plans and email them to clear@yrp.ca.

This information will be collected annually in order to ensure it is accurate.

If you have questions regarding this program, please contact Nicholaas Jonkman by email at 5896@yrp.ca or by phone at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7619. Once your submission is received, we may contact you for further clarification.

The information gathered will facilitate police response to incidents that require deploying specialized resources. Be assured, the information will remain confidential and will solely be stored by York Regional Police.
