High Risk Offenders Unit

The five members of the High-Risk Offenders Unit are responsible for managing information on Federal and Provincial parolees and High-Risk offenders in York Region. The unit works closely with Correctional Services Canada and the Provincial Probation and Parole board to better monitor and track the activities of convicted offenders and parolees within the region. The unit is also responsible for monitoring the Provincial and Federal Sex Offender Registries, making sure those who are on the registry are watched closely, in order to keep the residents of York Region safe.
