This program is designed to eliminate the risk of personal injury from improperly stored firearms, to reduce the number of illegal or unwanted firearms and firearm-related crimes in York Region and to ensure anyone storing legal firearms is doing so in a safe and secure manner. You can use this link to surrender an unwanted firearm, request a commercial/retail firearms safety assessment or request a residential firearm safety assessment.

ROAD WATCH
ROAD WATCH is a community driven program that provides citizens with a means to report dangerous or unlawful driver behaviour. Instances of speeding, unsafe lane changes, disobeying traffic lights and stop signs are some typical types of behaviors that qualify for a ROAD WATCH submission.

A Paid Duty is a work assignment arranged through the York Regional Police, where an off-duty officer performs policing duties for an individual or organization other than the York Regional Police. (Example: Traffic, Security, Weddings and Special Events).

Online Bicycle Registration is a program created by York Regional Police in an effort to safeguard the bicycles owned by all York Region residents.
