WANTED: SETHURAJ MOKADA

In August of 2008, the Corporate Security department of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) became aware of a fraud being committed by one of their Financial Services Representatives (FSR) at a branch located in Newmarket. 

The suspect, Sethuraj (Babji) MOKADA, held a position that included the servicing of customer accounts and customer assistance in the purchase and management of various CIBC products.

ARMED BANK ROBBERY

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at approximately 10:00 a.m., a male suspect armed with a handgun entered the Royal Bank located at 8165 Yonge Street in the Town of Markham. He approached a teller and made a demand for money. As the teller was complying with his demand, the suspect jumped over the counter and removed an unknown quantity of money from a second money drawer. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries during the incident

SANDY EBRAHIM

On Monday, June 28, 1999, Sandy Ebrahim went to the Kennedy Fields Plaza at 7220 Kennedy Road in Markham. Sandy and some friends were in the parking lot. At about 3:14 a.m. a black Lincoln Navigator entered the parking lot. The car circled the parking lot and drove up to Sandy and her friends. As it approached the group, shots were fired from the vehicle.

JASON PELLICORE

At approximately 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2007, York Regional Police #2 District officers responded to 354 Newkirk Road, south of Major Mackenzie Drive, for a report of a weapons call. The caller advised that gunshots were heard and a male had been shot.
