Youth Band

The York Regional Police Youth Band was formed in October 2009 and is a complement of seventeen highly talented students from throughout the Region.
This tremendously talented group of musicians have been very busy since their first performance at the York Regional Police Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in November 2009. Their past performances have included entertaining the York Central Hospital Long Term Care unit, the Kick Off to March Break at Hillcrest Mall and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination event. They have also performed at the Hershey Center in Mississauga at Battle of the Band.
Most recently the Youth Band has participated as a marching band in the Markham Santa Claus Parade and the kick-off to the York Regional Police Holidays in the Village located at the Community Safety Village in Stouffville.
