POLICE SEEK SUSPECT FOLLOWING GAS STATION ROBBERY IN VAUGHAN

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance to identify a suspect wanted in a robbery that took place at a gas station in the City of Vaughan.   

On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, shortly after 2 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a gas station in the area of Highway 7 West, west of Martin Grove Road for a report of an armed robbery. The investigation has revealed that a man walked into the gas station, indicated that he had a gun and made a demand for cash. The employee complied with the demand and the suspect fled the area on foot. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • 33 to 37 years
  • 5’3”, 120 lbs.
