Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking suspects and witnesses following a robbery at a cannabis store in the Town of Aurora.
On Friday, November 21, at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to a report of a commercial robbery in the area of Bayview Avenue and Hollidge Boulevard. Four suspects entered a cannabis store, threatened an employee with a sword and stole a quantity of cannabis products.

On November 13, 2025, the victim, a youth, came forward to report that their teacher had touched them for a sexual purpose during one-on-one bible study sessions at a Markham school on multiple occasions between September 2025 and November 2025.
