Accessibility Plan
York Regional Police works closely with the Region of York’s Accessibility Advisory Committee whose mandate includes improving opportunities for persons with disabilities by promoting the implementation of the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) in York Region. Members of York Regional Police participate on the Region’s ODA Staff Committee.

The current York Regional Police Accessibility Plan is included in “Accessing York” which is the Regional Municipality of York's seventh annual Accessibility Plan under the ODA since 2004. This seventh plan continues to break down barriers for people with disabilities by identifying, removing and preventing barriers to accessibility.
