Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing for witnesses following an arson in the City of Vaughan.
On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a fire in the area of Centre and Dufferin Streets. The fire was extinguished by Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services and it was determined that an accelerant had been used to set the fire intentionally.
Video in the area captured two suspects arriving on foot, smashing a glass door to the premise and using an accelerant to set a fire.

The building was unoccupied and there were no injuries.
