Alternate formats

York Regional Police is committed to providing accessible document formats such as large typeface documents or audible CD-ROMS. When providing an alternate format is not possible, York Regional Police will provide an explanation for the lack of an alternate format, and an accessible summary of the document, as soon as possible.

Communication support

If you require communication support, like an American Sign Language interpreter, to participate in a York Regional Police event, please contact the organizer of the event.

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

The York Region Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines how the region is going to meet the requirements of the AODA and remove barriers to accessibility in York Region's programs, services and facilities. Regional council approved a new plan November 23, 2023.

The Accessibility Status Report is the annual update that York Region, York Regional Police and York Regional Police Services Board must provide on the measures taken to implement the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.
