Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a serious motorcycle collision in the City of Vaughan that has left two people with serious injuries.
On Friday, September 12, 2025, at approximately 4 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a sedan motor vehicle and a motorcycle, on Dufferin Street, north of Major Mackenzie Drive.
It was learned that a red Honda CBR motorcycle and black BMW 2 series coupe were travelling northbound on Dufferin Street when the motorcycle struck the rear of the BMW. The rider and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in serious injuries to both.
The driver of the BMW was not injured and remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing and investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, and to anyone who may have dashcam footage of the area around the time of the collision, to please come forward.
