MISSING VULNERABLE MAN FROM NEWMARKET

Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 56-year-old man from the Town of Newmarket.

Robert BISSESSAR was last seen on Wednesday, April 14, 2025, in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Erin Mills Parkway in the City of Mississauga.

Robert is transient in nature and is known to frequent shelters and hospitals in the Town of Newmarket, and cities of Mississauga and Brampton.

Police are concerned for Robert’s well-being.

Description:

  • 56-years-old
  • 5’6” tall, 150 Lbs.
  • Heavy build, medium to dark complexion, brown eyes and grey hair
  • Possibly wearing a burgundy sweater, jeans and Timberland boots
