MALE FOR IDENTIFICATION IN RICHMOND HILL SEXUAL ASSAULT

Investigators with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit are seeking public assistance in identifying a male suspect following a sexual assault in the City of Richmond Hill.

On April 5, 2025, the victim was at an indoor community centre pool in the area of Spadina Road and Weldrick Road East. While in the pool, the victim was inappropriately touched by an unknown male as he swam by.

Investigators are releasing images of the suspect and believe there may be additional victims. He was seen in the pool between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Suspect:

  • Male, olive complexion
  • 20 to 30-years-old
  • Approximately 5’8”, with an athletic build
  • Brown, brush cut hair
  • Small, brown goatee
  • Tattoos: A cross with wings on his chest and a bird wing on the right side of his neck. Tattoos also on the left side of his neck, both hands and left forearm
