UPDATE - WITNESSES CONTINUE TO BE SOUGHT FOLLOWING SHOOTING IN VAUGHAN

Investigators with the #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing to anyone with dashcam video to come forward following a shooting that occurred in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 6:42 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a café located at 100 Steeles Avenue West, which is in the area of Steeles Avenue and Yonge Street, for a report that a man had been shot. When officers arrived they found a victim, a 35-year-old man from the City of Mississauga, who had walked into the café suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transferred to hospital.

Investigators believe that the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the plaza. They are appealing to anyone who witnessed the shooting who have not yet spoken with police and anyone who may have been in the area at the time with dashcam video, to please come forward.
