WITNESSES SOUGHT FOLLOWING SUSPICIOUS CAR FIRE IN VAUGHAN

Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses following a suspicious car fire that occurred in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, March 26, 2020, shortly after midnight, York Regional Police were called to Pine Ridge Avenue, which is in the area of Pine Valley Road and Willis Road, for a report of a vehicle on fire. When officers arrived, they found a Volkswagen Jetta that was fully engulfed in front of a residence. There were no injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious is asked to come forward.
