FATAL MOTORCYCLE COLLISION IN VAUGHAN

Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision involving a motorcycle in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, May 21, 2020, at approximately 6:15 a.m., officers responded to a collision on Keele Street near Langstaff Road, involving a Kawasaki sports motorcycle and a barricade truck.  

The rider of the motorcycle, a 47-year-old man from the City of Vaughan, was seriously injured and sadly, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing and any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the collision, are being asked to please come forward.
