Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking suspects following a carjacking in the City of Markham.

On Monday, September 13, 2021, at 11:40 p.m., officers were called to a leisure club located at 3275 Highway 7 for a report of a carjacking.

The victim was sitting in his grey 2017 Ferrari 458 which was parked in the parking lot when three male suspects got out of another vehicle that pulled up next to him.

The suspects were described as Middle Eastern and all wearing masks. Two of the suspects were armed with knives and the other had a handgun. The victim was assaulted causing minor injuries and the suspects stole the vehicle and a quantity of cash.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward. Officers would also like to speak with anyone who may have video surveillance or dashcam footage of the incident.
