York Regional Police is seeking witnesses after six puppies were left abandoned at the side of the road in the Township of King.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 2:27 p.m., police were called to the area of Weston Road and 15 th Sideroad for a report of an animal complaint. When police arrived, it was learned that a passerby had located six puppies in a wire cage at the side of the road.

York Regional Police has seized a loaded gun and laid multiple firearm charges following a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle in the City of Vaughan. 
On Friday, March 29, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., an astute officer on patrol in the area of Steeles Avenue West and Yonge Street conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Civic. The driver was investigated and a loaded firearm was located in his possession.
