Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold Up Unit are appealing for witnesses following an armed home invasion in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Monday, January 27, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a home invasion in the area of King Road and Parker Avenue. On scene, officers learned that three masked suspects forced their way into the residence and forced the occupants onto the floor at gunpoint while they burglarized the home.
The suspects then exited through the front door and fled in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle.
All three suspects are described as male, young, and wearing dark clothing. At least one of the suspects was armed.

There were two adults in the residence at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
