Investigators with the Special Victims Unit are appealing for additional victims to come forward following a sexual assault investigation in the City of Richmond Hill.
On May 26, 2025, a victim reported being sexually assaulted by their acupuncturist. The victim attended a clinic in the area of Highway 7 East and Chalmers Road on two occasions and was sexually assaulted both times.
On May 28, 2025, Heng Guang SHEN, 57, of the City of Richmond Hill, was charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Investigators are releasing his image as they believe there may be additional victims.
A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police would like to encourage anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward and report the incident to police. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.
