Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal collision in the City of Vaughan.

On Friday, November 2, 2018, at 6:40 a.m., York Regional Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Rutherford Road, just west of Peter Rupert Way, in Vaughan.

When officers arrived, they located a white Mazda hatchback that had gone off the road and into a ditch. Investigators believe that the white Mazda was westbound on Rutherford Road and was hit by a brown Buick Enclave going east.
