Members of the Special Victims Unit - Sexual Assault Cold Case Section are still looking for a suspect following a sexual assault that occurred in an empty field in Georgina in October 2008.

The teenaged victim was walking alone in the area of Highway 48 and Hadden Rd just before 10 PM on the 24th of October, 2008. The female teen travelled through a field next to a coffee shop and convenience store in the area when she was sexually assaulted by an unknown male suspect.

Following the assault the victim made her way to Cronsberry Rd where she was found distraught at the side of the road by a local man who subsequently drove her home.

The investigation to date has failed to locate a suspect.
