About accessibility at York Regional Police
York Regional Police is committed to providing accessible services, information and facilities for all members of our community.
We are proud to comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and work to identify, remove and prevent barriers to access across our programs, services and spaces.
If you need accommodation, communication support or information in another format, we are here to help.

Accessibility plans and reports
The York Region Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines how we identify, remove and prevent barriers, and how we will continue meeting our obligations under AODA.
Our annual status report outlines progress made by York Region, York Regional Police and the York Regional Police Service Board has made toward our accessibility commitments set in the multi-year plan.
York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee
The York Region Accessibility Advisory Committee (YRAAC) advises Regional Council and York Regional Police on how to make it easier for people with disabilities to use York Region's programs and services.
Committee members come from different backgrounds and most members must be people with disabilities.
