Investigators with the #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing for witnesses to assist in identifying four suspects following a serious assault in the City of Vaughan.
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at approximately 1 a.m., police responded to an assault in progress in a plaza parking lot, in the area of Steeles Avenue West and Pearce Road. When they arrived, they located a male victim with significant injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma centre where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Video from the area shows that the victim was assaulted by as many as four suspects. Investigators believe the victim and suspects attended the same event at a bar in the plaza.
Suspect #1:
- Male, East Indian
- Last seen wearing a black t-shirt with “Jordan” written on the front and black pants
No descriptions are available for the other suspects.
