Five Men Charged Following the Recovery of Over $2 Million in Stolen Cannabis and Two Firearms

Five men have been charged by the York Regional Police Auto Cargo Theft Unit (ACTU), following the recovery of over $2 million in stolen cannabis products and two illegal firearms.

On April 15, 2026, investigators were in the area of McLaughlin Road and Highway 401, in the City of Mississauga, when they located a trailer that was reported stolen from the Niagara Region.

Through investigation, it was determined the trailer contained a large amount of cannabis products, intended to be delivered to numerous dispensaries, when it was stolen.

While in the area, investigators observed and identified several males as being associated to the stolen trailer.

Investigators placed five males under arrest and while searching them, two firearms were located.

The suspect photos are being released as investigators believe there are additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police.
