Suspect 1Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects following a pharmacy robbery in the City of Markham.
On January 19, 2026, at 6:10 p.m., two males, armed with at least one firearm, entered a pharmacy in the area of McCowan Road and Denison Street.

Investigators with the York Regional Police Firearms Investigations Team are appealing for witnesses and searching for suspects after a man was shot outside his home in the City of Vaughan.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Martin Grove and Andrew Park. When they arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injures.
