York Regional Police is searching for the next generation of police officers and policing professionals - and in 2026, we're putting people first.
It doesn’t take one type of person to keep a community safe. It takes a team, including people of all backgrounds, walks of life and with all sorts of skillsets and interests.
At this session, hosted at the York Regional Police 2 District Location , you will learn how you can join York Regional Police, one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers and a national leader in law enforcement.
Details
Each session includes a presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period and interview preparation. York Regional Police recruiters will be on hand 30 minutes before all information sessions. Uniform officers, special constables and auxiliary constables will also be on hand to share information on all the outstanding career paths and roles available at York Regional Police.
All sessions start promptly at their scheduled time. District doors will be open at 12:45 p.m., with no further admittance past 1:15 p.m.
House Rules
- No walks-ins will be permitted
- No bags will be allowed in the building
- No personal recording devices, photos or videos. Attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook and a pen to take notes
