Man Charged with Voyeurism and Criminal Harassment in Richmond Hill

Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a man with voyeurism and criminal harassment in the City of Richmond Hill. 

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, officers were notified that a male entered a store at a shopping centre, in the area of Yonge Street and Carville Road, and was recognized by loss prevention personnel. This was due to previous allegations that he had been filming customers without their knowledge. 

While inside the store, the male was following two females while holding a cellular phone. He was then observed bending down behind one of the females and appeared to be filming underneath her skirt. 

Police arrived shortly after and took him into custody. 

Nicholas ROSSINSKI, 30, of Richmond Hill, has been charged with:

  • Voyeurism
  • Criminal Harassment

Investigators are releasing his photo as they believe there may be additional victims.
