Suspect Charged for Indecent Acts

Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a suspect in connection with an indecent act in the City of Markham.

On August 20, 2026, officers responded to a report of a man approaching a woman and committing an indecent act in the area of McCowan Road and Highway 7 East.

Investigators are aware the incident was captured on camera and circulated on social media.

On August 27, 2026, Fabio GUERRIERI, 57, of Markham, was charged with Indecent Act

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, witnessed suspicious activity, or has information that may assist the investigation is urged to contact York Regional Police.

Police remind members of the public to remain aware of their surroundings when walking alone at night and to call 9-1-1 immediately if they observe suspicious activity or feel unsafe.
