Two Suspects Charged in Vaughan Home Invasion
Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit have charged two suspects and are seeking an additional three in connection with a home invasion in the City of Vaughan.
On Friday, May 15, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., four suspects forced their way into a residence in the area of Stormont Trail and Carling Road. The suspects woke and confronted the sleeping homeowners and threatened them with a firearm. The suspects demanded cash, jewelry and the keys to the victim’s Lamborghini.
The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, in tandem with a dark-coloured sedan driven by a fifth unidentified suspect.
As a result of the investigation, police identified two suspects involved in the home invasion.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, investigators executed three search warrants at residences in the City of Toronto. Two suspects were taken into custody. One of the suspects was also found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.

At the time of the incident, both suspects were bound by judicial release orders for unrelated offences.
Three suspects remain outstanding. The investigation is ongoing.
