Witnesses Sought After Bus Shelters Damaged Overnight

Investigators with the #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after four bus shelters were damaged overnight in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, September 17, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., police were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Clark Avenue following reports of damaged bus shelters.

Investigators believe that at approximately 12:30 a.m., a lone suspect riding a yellow electric scooter attended the area and damaged four bus shelters along Clake Avenue, between Bathurst Street and Atkinson Avenue.

At this time, there is no information to suggest this was a hate-motivated incident.
