Ignazio Drago's body was discovered behind a Vaughan industrial plaza. Sprawled in the snow, he had been shot multiple times.
Before his death, the 53-year-old father of two was abducted from his Toronto home by a man posing as a Toronto police officer and driving a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu. The Malibu, located by police near 4190 Steeles Ave. W., where Ignazio was killed, looked just like an unmarked police car. A Toronto police jacket with '52 Division' written across the back was found in the backseat.
The man driving the car was described as being 5'10" and weighing nearly 200 pounds, with short, dark hair.
