York Regional Police understands that sexual assault can have long-lasting impacts and that speaking about it can be difficult.
You can report a sexual assault online. Reports are reviewed by trained investigators and may be submitted for incidents that happened recently or in the past.
What is a sexual assault?
A sexual assault is any unwanted sexual contact. It may include:
- Unwanted kissing
- Unwanted hugging or groping
- Molestation
- Attempted rape
- Rape
Sexual assault may happen once, more than once, or over a period of time.
