Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are appealing for witnesses and seeking to identify at least three suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m., three suspects forced their way into a residence in the area of Martin Grove Road and Jackman Crescent. One of the suspects was armed with a hatchet. The suspects threatened the homeowners and demanded cash.

The suspects fled the scene with a quantity of jewelry.

There were no reported injuries.

This is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1 - Male, dark complexion, approximately 6’0”, 17 to 19 years old, wearing glasses with black frames, a blue surgical mask, a black Nike V-Tech hoodie, dark pants and dark gloves.

Suspect #2 - Male, dark complexion, approximately 5’8”, 17 to 19 years old, wearing a ski mask, dark clothing, gloves and carrying a hatchet with an orange handle.

Suspect #3 - Male, light complexion, approximately 5’9”, 17 to 19 years old, brown eyes, wearing a grey hoodie with a black zip-up jacket, dark pants and dark gloves.
