Investigators with the York Regional Police Counter Exploitation Unit have charged a suspect in connection with a human trafficking investigation.

In October 2025, the victim reported to police they had been sexually assaulted, trafficked and exploited in the sex trade from 2012 to 2019. These offences were committed at various locations in the City of Vaughan and across Ontario.

The suspect is known to have several aliases and investigators are releasing his photo as they believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.
