York Regional Police is proud to launch a new, improved website.

Built with customer service and accessibility top of mind, the new website is compliant with standards legislated by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act

Serving one of the most diverse regions in Canada, the site features user-activated translation and a live chat assistant, ensuring our community members can access the information they need, in their language.

The revamped website is also equipped with a new media centre, featuring a community blog and filterable media releases, allowing community members to see what’s happening in their district, city or town.

New district pages allow members of the public to receive news and information about their municipality, and to hear from their policing leaders about policing priorities.

With an updated design and improved user experience, the new website allows community members to navigate simplified menus and pages more efficiently and effectively.

Optimized for mobile users, the new site seamlessly scales regardless of screen size, ensuring full functionality between devices.

“The new website reflects the York Regional Police commitment to continuous improvement and modernization,” Chief Jim MacSween said. “Whether it’s filing a report, requesting a record check or applying for a job, the improved website allows our community members to find what they need easily and quickly.”
