Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a Registered Massage Therapist in connection to a sexual assault in the City of Vaughan.

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the victim attended a massage appointment at a wellness clinic in the area of Rutherford Road and Vellore Woods Boulevard. During the massage, the suspect began to touch the victim for a sexual purpose.

On May 11, 2026, the suspect was arrested and charged with sexual assault. 

Investigators are releasing the suspect’s image as they believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police would like to encourage anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward and report the incident to police. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.
