York Regional Police (YRP) is looking for the next generation of police constables. Keeping our communities safe takes a diverse team with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, skills and perspectives, all working toward a common goal.

Join us for a high-energy, beginner metabolic conditioning (MetCon) workout, followed by an open conversation about careers in policing with Constable Emma Gomes.

This is a great opportunity to speak one-on-one with officers from the York Regional Police Outreach team, ask questions and connect with others who share an interest in a career in policing.

The workout will run for 30 to 45 minutes, followed by a one-hour social with refreshments, where participants can hear about officers’ experiences in policing, get tips on the application process and learn more about opportunities with York Regional Police.

Participants are asked to arrive by 9:30 a.m. to complete the required waiver form before the session begins.

Please bring indoor shoes, a water bottle and all the energy!
