Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Richmond Hill
Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a pedestrian fatally struck by two vehicles, one which failed to remain at the scene, in the City of Richmond Hill.
On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers attended the area of Yonge Street and Tower Hill Road for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. On scene, a male was located on the roadway suffering from critical injuries.
Despite life saving efforts by first responders, the male, a 27-year-old of no fixed address, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No vehicle description was obtained for the second vehicle.
No charges have been laid and the investigation remains ongoing.
