Report a Community Concern
Is this an emergency?
If this is an emergency, or you are in immediate danger, call 9-1-1.
Report a community concern
Submit an online report about ongoing issues affecting your neighbourhood so police can review and respond appropriately.
About community concern reports
York Regional Police encourages residents to report public safety concerns or ongoing activity that is detracting from the enjoyment of their community.
This reporting option is intended for recurring issues, not single incidents or crimes in progress.
How it works
Identify the concern
Confirm the issue is ongoing or recurring, such as repeated traffic violations, noise complaints or disorderly activity in your area.
Ensure it is not an emergency
Community concerns are for non-urgent situations. If immediate response is required, contact police by phone.
Provide your information
You will need to provide your name, address and contact details when submitting a report.
Submit your report online
Complete the online form with details about the concern, including location, frequency and type of activity.
Police review and follow up
Your report will be reviewed and may be assigned for follow-up. You may be contacted if additional information is required.
