Richmond Hill Man Facing Indecent Act Charges

Investigators with the York Regional Police #2 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a man with numerous offences, including Indecent Act, after three separate incidents in the City of Richmond Hill.

On September 30, 2025, at approximately 2 p.m., a victim was walking on a trail system in the area Devonsleigh Boulevard and Summitcrest Drive. They were approached by an unknown male who attempted to make conversation with the victim and exposed himself. The suspect then left the area.

Investigators have linked the same suspect to two previous incidents. On September 11, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., a victim was on a trail system in the area of Woodriver Street and Bayview Avenue. The victim was followed by a male who was attempting to make conversation. As the victim walked away, the male was heard making sexual comments toward them.

The second incident occurred on July 23, 2025. At approximately 11 a.m., the victim was on a trail system in the area Tower Hill Road and Mockingbird Drive. The victim observed a male by a wooden fence, exposed himself and committed an indecent act. The victim left the area and reported the incident to police.

In all three incidents, the victims were not physically injured.

On Friday, October 17, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Richmond Hill and a 34-year-old man was charged.

Investigators are releasing an image of the suspect as they believe there are additional victims.

  • Mischief x3
  • Criminal Harassment
