Masseur Charged with Sexual Assault

Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a masseur with sexual assault in relation to incidents in the City of Markham and the City of Toronto.

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the victim contacted police to report that she had been sexually assaulted by her masseur.

On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the victim attended the suspect’s residence in the area of Rosemount Avenue and Via Italia in Toronto to receive a massage. After the massage was complete, the suspect began to touch the victim for a sexual purpose.

On Monday, September 1, 2025, the victim attended a swim club in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Highway 407 in Markham, where she met with the suspect. While speaking with the suspect, he pulled the victim towards him and touched her for a sexual purpose.

The investigation has determined that the suspect is not a Registered Massage Therapist.

Investigators are releasing the suspect’s image as they believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact police. The suspect was known to the victim only as “Sam”.

  • Sexual Assault x2 

 

A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police would like to encourage anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward and report the incident to police. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.
