Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit are appealing for witnesses following a homicide in the City of Vaughan.
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers attended a residence in the area of Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive after receiving reports that shots had been fired. When officers arrived, two males were located outside of the home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both males succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased.
On Thursday, May 14, 2026, the office of the Chief Coroner identified the homicide victims as Pasquale CASCIATO, 49, of Vaughan and Christian BELSITO, 34, of Vaughan.
The cause of death for both men was determined to be the result of gunshot wounds.
Investigators are treating this as a targeted incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
