Vaughan Realtor Facing Sexual Assault Related Charges

Posted on Wednesday February 18, 2026

Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a Vaughan man and are appealing for additional victims to come forward in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

On February 9, 2026, the victim contacted a realtor from a social media sales platform regarding a rental listing. The next day, the realtor asked the victim to visit the listed property. As the victim was unable to do so, the realtor and the victim agreed to meet at her home to discuss the listing.

While inside the home with the victim, the suspect sexually assaulted her and committed an indecent act.

The suspect left the victim’s home shortly after. She was not physically injured.

On February 16, 2026, Farzad FARHOODINEJAD, 44, of the City of Vaughan, was charged with Sexual Assault and Indecent Act.

Investigators are releasing his photo as they believe there may be additional victims.

A sexual assault includes any non-consensual contact of a sexual nature. York Regional Police would like to encourage anyone who feels they may have been a victim of a sexual assault to come forward and report the incident to police. There is no statute of limitations for sexual offences and offenders can be prosecuted well after the date of the offence.
