Toronto Man Charged with Indecent Act at Community Centre in Markham

Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged a man with Indecent Act at a community centre in the City of Markham.  

On December 5, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., police were called to the Milliken Mills Community Centre, after a male was observed hiding behind different garbage cans in the main hallway committing an indecent act.

The male fled the area prior to police arrival.

On December 7, 2025, police were again called to the centre and told the male had returned. Officers located the male and took him into custody.

Vahid HOSSEIN-NIA, 66, of Toronto, has since been charged with Indecent Act.

Investigators learned the male frequented the community centre and are releasing his image as they believe there are additional incidents.
