Investigators with the York Regional Police Firearms Investigations Team are appealing for public assistance following a shooting at a residence in the City of Vaughan.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, just before 1 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots at a residence in the area of Clubhouse Road and Pine Valley Drive. When officers arrived, multiple shell casings were located and the house had been damaged by gunfire.
There were no injuries reported.
Two suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a white sedan. The sedan was then involved in a collision and abandoned at the intersection of Pine Valley Drive and Hayhoe Avenue.
Officers located and arrested one suspect and recovered a firearm.
BOWEN, Ahkari, 18, of the City of Toronto was charged with:
-Discharge a Firearm into or at a place in a Reckless Manner
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
-Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
-Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in Motor Vehicle,
-Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited device or Ammunition
The second suspect, who is still outstanding, is described as a Black male, in his mid-20’s, wearing a zippered white hoodie.
Police believe that this is a targeted shooting and there is no ongoing risk to public safety.
Investigators are seeking any video footage from security cameras in that neighbourhood or dashcams on roadways in the area at the time of the shooting.
