Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit have charged one suspect and recovered a replica firearm in a robbery investigation called Project Calder.
The investigation began on October 22, 2025 when three suspects entered an entertainment lounge on Langstaff Road, near Weston Road, in the City of Vaughan, and demanded cash. One suspect was armed with a handgun, while two others carried knives. The suspects fled shortly afterward with the victim’s phone, computer and a quantity of cash.
Following an ongoing investigation, police identified one suspect and, with the assistance of the York Regional Police Emergency Response Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the in the City of Toronto where a replica firearm was seized.
Investigators are releasing images of the accused to help identify any additional suspects or associates.
