Policing in #4 District
In #4 District, York Regional Police officers proudly serve nearly 330,000 residents in Vaughan and King Township, providing community-focused policing and public safety services across one of York Region’s fastest-growing areas. Officers work daily to keep neighborhoods safe, respond quickly to emergencies, and engage with residents to prevent crime and promote community well-being.
The district is supported in key locations such as the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Substation, which opened in September 2024 to provide a modern, accessible hub for policing in the rapidly growing area, and the Kleinburg Substation, which offers a local presence and easy access to police services.
These strategically located substations help officers maintain fast response times, build strong relationships with residents, and deliver effective policing tailored to the unique needs of Vaughan and King Township. From patrolling busy urban centers to connecting with local communities, #4 District officers are committed to keeping the district safe, connected, and thriving.
